OUR PLAN TO SAVE RPH

The Carpenter Government’s plan to close RPH has angered the Western Australian community.

More than 35,000 people have signed petitions to Save RPH, which were tabled in both houses of the State Parliament last year.

We have also been working actively with nurse Ailsa Allen and other nurses, doctors and medical professionals to coordinate the Save RPH campaign.

Closing RPH will seriously disadvantage people living in the eastern suburbs of Perth as well as those living and working in or near the CBD.

RPH is ideally located for eastern suburb residents with a rail station at the hospital and with easy freeway access from all directions. It is also the ideal location for a major trauma centre.

The WA Liberal Party has a plan to Save RPH. We want the hospital to remain open and service people living and working in the CBD and the eastern suburbs of Perth.

We also want RPH to remain Western Australia's major trauma centre.

You can’t fix the health system in Western Australia by closing the State’s largest hospital. The move won’t even save any money.

That’s why the WA Liberal Party will continue the fight to Save RPH.

We will not let the Carpenter Government close the door on 153 years of excellence in patient care, teaching and research.

Let’s work together to Save RPH.
